Necron FAQs are in

Loaded last night the Necron FAQs (and several other codexs) are now out.  Here is the link to all the FAQs (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?categoryId=1000018&pIndex=1&aId=3400019&multiPageMode=true&start=2) but allow me to highlight some of the Necron changes that I found worth mentioning (FYI - this is not a total list just the ones I know have come into question alot)
  • Trazyn gets Reanimation Protocol "then" Surrogate Host
  • Everliving is like Protocol and all things that benefit Protocol benefit Ress orb
  • Royal Court members do get everliving if an entire squad is wiped out but the squad cannot protcol just cause a Court member everlivinged back.
  • Sweep attacks do not get Furious Charge nor are they considered close combat attacks. (For better lack of naming convention they are just a special kind of attack outside of shooting and or combat). To this end no cover saves to Command Barge sweep attacks
  • If a single model fails his LD to Mindshackle can he attack himself. Yes - WIN!
  • Orikan and Tremor stave effects do stack with Writhing Worldscape.
  • Models with ress orb still get it's benefit even if they are removed from play.
  • You can Veil of Darkness from Reserves
  • Chronometron does allow Imotekh to reroll his Night Fight special rule - Wow..I honestly thought they were going to rule this one as a no.
  • If you have 2 Courts you "CAN" attach one member of each court to the same unit.
  • Members of Royal Courts do benefit from Hunters from Hyperspace. Aka a Abyss-Tek gets to hit with his AP 1 flamer on a 2+....O.o Really? Wow. BUT to counter this, the deathmarks can't DS cause the whole unit doesn't have the deepstrike ability. So if you want to pop and Fry on 2+ you need to be a Veil-Tek
  • Time's Arrow doesn't work on vehicles
  • Yes Lance does reduce Quantum Shielding to 12. And any Pen that is cover saved off does not reduce the AV 13. Only pen's that stick
  • Whipcoil reduction goes into effect before Inn boosting abilities. Aka Furious charge go at Inn 2. GK Halberds go at Inn 3....OUCH
  • Spyders can add scarabs to a unit that is already locked in combat. Tar pit Unit much?
  • Spawned Scarabs have to be placed in coherency with a non-spawned scarab from this turn - Good bye Congo line.
  • Yes you roll for Entropic Strike before you do your Armor Pen roll. And yes anyone else trying to hit a vehicle that scarabs are attacking get to Armor Pen at the reduced armor due to scarabs entropic strike rolls.
  • Deathray only effects models on the line it creates, not the number of models in a unit
